Yes, you can buy the happy meal toys w/o buying the meal. However, they cost almost as much as the meal itself. (example: if the happy meal cost $2.09, the toy costs $1.59).

I liked it when it was with bestbuy i thin they are going after a under age group this time.
Yet i think MCD and bestbuy lost alot becuase people would break into MCD to steal the stickers.
One of my sister store got robed when the truck brought needed items they stole the boxes and bags with the sticker's 1,000's dollars of bestbuy bucks and lots of mcd promos.What do people think of the fact that this year McDonald Monopoly game 2007, is teaming up with Toy's R Us?

Since the libs in Sanfransissyco have passed a law outlawing toys in Happy Meals unless the meals meet with the liberal definition of "healthy", it seems to me that McDonalds should sell the meals without toys and then offer the toys to every purchaser of a Happy Meal for one cent. That solves the problem of the government telling us what to eat "or else Johnny doesn't get his toy".What do you think of my Happy Meal solution?

I was talking to a guy at the book store about it who has some old Chipmunks albums from the 60s. He says he hates the new Chipmunks. I liked the 80s Alvin and the Chipmunks that was on Nickelodeon in the 90s.Have they ruined The Chipmunks by making all these crappy new CGI movies?

Research in India finds mobiles are causing drop in numbers of Bees

If you are concerned about the environment you might want to trade in your used phone for cash because new findings have found that mobiles may be responsible for the declining number of honeybees. A team of researchers from Chandigarh's Punjab University set up a controlled experiment earlier this year in which they compared two hives, one with mobile phones embedded in and the other with dummy models. The hive with mobiles attached was switched on for two fifteen minute sessions a day and the difference in the two colonies was hugely apparent after the three month experiment. The Queen Bee in the handset hive laid fewer eggs and the bees also stopped producing honey. In addition to this, there were less worker bees returning to the hive and because of this the amount of nectar produced reduced. The authors of the report in the journal Current Science, Ved Prakash Sharma and Neelima Kumar, wrote: "Increase in the usage of electronic gadgets has led to electropollution of the environment. Honeybee behaviour and biology has been affected by electrosmog since these insects have magnetite in their bodies which helps them in navigation. "There are reports of sudden disappearance of bee populations from honeybee colonies. The reason is still not clear. We have compared the performance of honeybees in cellphone radiation exposed and unexposed colonies. "A significant decline in colony strength and in the egg laying rate of the queen was observed. If you are concerned about the environment you might want to trade in your used phone for cash because new findings have found that mobiles may be responsible for the declining number of honeybees. A team of researchers from Chandigarh's Punjab University set up a controlled experiment earlier this year in which they compared two hives, one with mobile phones embedded in and the other with dummy models. The hive with mobiles attached was switched on for two fifteen minute sessions a day and the difference in the two colonies was hugely apparent after the three month experiment. The Queen Bee in the handset hive laid fewer eggs and the bees also stopped producing honey. In addition to this, there were less worker bees returning to the hive and because of this the amount of nectar produced reduced. The authors of the report in the journal Current Science, Ved Prakash Sharma and Neelima Kumar, wrote: "Increase in the usage of electronic gadgets has led to electropollution of the environment. Honeybee behaviour and biology has been affected by electrosmog since these insects have magnetite in their bodies which helps them in navigation. "There are reports of sudden disappearance of bee populations from honeybee colonies. The reason is still not clear. We have compared the performance of honeybees in cellphone radiation exposed and unexposed colonies. "A significant decline in colony strength and in the egg laying rate of the queen was observed. Here is a solution:
Prefix your text message with *0# and you will receive a delivery report for the message.

The *0# will not appear in the message that is received by the other person, and you will receive a delivery report when delivered.
This is a free service, so you will not be charged for requesting a delivery report.

Paradise Island is a simulation type game, a sort of cross between Theme Park and those Facebook games like Farmville. I've been playing it for a few weeks now and have got to level 16, and I thought I'd share some tips I've learned along the way to help you with your game including how to unlock some of the achievements.
General Tips:First off, I'd like to advise you to avoid the cheat where you set the time forward on your phone to speed up earning money – this is because the new version can detect this and prevent you from building the special facilities, also, when you set the time back to its proper value you will have to wait a long time before you can collect money again (I set my clock forward 10 days, when I put it back I had to wait 10 days before I could collect money again)
The golden rings or piastries are valuable little things, don't waste them on collecting profits or repairing buildings since they are hard to earn. Once you have enough money and have unlocked the relevant level, you can build a Business Centre which will give you 1 piastre per 24 hours.
Sometimes a treasure chest will appear in the water, press on it a few times and you will collect some money. The amount of money will increase with the level you are on. If you are lucky you will get a golden pisastre
Atlas Hotel – When you reach level 12, it tells you the Atlas Hotel is unlocked. You cannot build this until you have purchased region 6 (unlocked at level 19) and repaired the pier at the right of the island.
Achievements & Awards: Most are self explanatory, but a few confused me a little
Easy to earn – Do these when you first start playing for extra $ $ $
Build 40 roads ( or 400 if you are bored) This gives you $1250 plus 40XP
Leave the screen on for 3 hours This gives you $5000
Plant 5 flowers ( costs $1500) This gives you $3000 plus 200 XP
Move your buildings 20 times This gives you $1500 and 50XP
Meaning you start the game with an extra $9250 and 290XP
Other achievements
Quick – Did something 5 times in a moment For this you need to use your golden piastres to do an instant build
Profit hunter – Build 3 special facilities These are the buildings which can only be bought with the golden piastres (Fireworks Store etc)
Careful & Lucky – Hit green or yellow buck so many times To get these awards, you must hit the buck icon straight after it appears – be quick!
Secret Achievements
