Are you an O2 customer and frustrated that you are unable to receive delivery reports for the SMS text messages you send from your phone?
Here is a solution:
Prefix your text message with *0# and you will receive a delivery report for the message.
Example:*0# Hi Julie, How are you today?
The *0# will not appear in the message that is received by the other person, and you will receive a delivery report when delivered.
This is a free service, so you will not be charged for requesting a delivery report.
I don't know why O2 don't activate this service on their network by default, as it is still a little annoying that you have to add a prefix each time.
